THE PUPPIES ARE HERE!!! Individual pictures soon:-)
Started by David and Gina Carpenter of Eastern Jackson County Missouri to breed quality puppies that make great pets!
We have raised 11 children together over the last 38 years. Nine of those children were adopted. We didn't plan to adopt nine children, but it was definitely God's plan for our life, and it's been a tremendous blessing!!!
We always had at least 2 dogs around as the kids were growing up. Four of those dogs lived to be 14 years old! They were great dogs, and a real part of the family! We also used to live on a 167 acre farm where we raised Polled Hereford Cattle, and helped care for Tennessee Walking horses that David's parents owned and showed, along with Haflinger horses, and Labrador Retrievers that his parents bred.
Now that all the kids are adults we are enjoying being grandparents to 8 grandchildren, and 2 more by the end of August 2024!
We have become very interested in the new designer breed of Miniature Bernedoodles, after losing our 14 year old Beagle a couple years ago. We already have very, very, tiny toy poodle that's four years old. I love that she doesn't shed, but wanted a breed with a little more stamina that could be more of an inside/outside dog with little shedding.
After picking up the first puppy, we were in love with this breed. We decided this was a breed we could really get behind starting a breeding program with. We began researching it more and more. Their temperaments were sweet and loving. Their coats were unpredictable, but gorgeous. Sometimes they were curlier like a Miniature Poodle, and sometimes just wavy and thick like the Bernese Mountain Dog. However, the shedding was always at a minimum, or not at all.
We knew we wanted to breed miniature ones, so they could be inside more if owners desired. I tend to like the smaller breed dogs myself. We also learned about the various color preferences. Tri-Color and/or merle is considered to be the most desired. Then there is tuxedo which is the black and white. However, my little Dixie is golden and white and I think she is beautiful! I'm certain whichever puppy you choose you will feel is perfect!
